Car repair and body shops

A repair estimate form that prices from your list, not from guesswork

Customers send the car, the mileage, what is wrong and a photo of the damage. OnDot drafts a price range from your own price list, or offers an inspection when a photo can't tell.

The bots behind it

  • Intake

Checks the request is complete and real, sorts it by job type and asks for a photo when it is body work.

  • Builder

Reads the description and the photos, picks the items from your list and drafts a range. Never prices bodywork from a photo it cannot read: it offers your inspection instead.

  • Follow-up

Answers their replies and offers free times from your calendar to bring the car in. You approve; the time is held for them.

From Jane Miller

2017 Honda Civic, 84,000 miles. Brakes: grinding noise from the front when I brake, worse in the last week.

Draft · waiting for your OK

Hi Jane, grinding from the front usually means worn pads, sometimes the rotors too.

Front brake pads: $150–$250. If the rotors are scored as well, pads and rotors: $320–$520. We confirm when we see it.

Questions

Can it really price from a photo?
Only when the photo shows enough. For anything it can't judge, like side damage that might be more than a dent, it offers your inspection price instead of a range.
Do customers see an exact price?
They see a range from your list, worded as an estimate you confirm when you see the car. Firm-price requests come to you.
Does it work with AI assistants?
Yes. An assistant booking a repair for someone gets the same form as a tool, with your rules, and a status link for your answer.
